A Review meeting of developmental works, planning wing & EESL was held today under the chairmanship of Commissioner SMC  Athar Amir Khan

Srinagar, may 23 : A Review meeting of developmental works, planning wing & EESL was held today under the chairmanship of Commissioner SMC  Athar Amir Khan.
Besides Joint Commissioner SMC Administration , Joint Commissioner Works, FA/ CAO, Officers of SMC and ESSL were present on the occasion.
Commissioner SMC Athar Amir Khan on the occasion took a detailed review of both Right River Works and Left River Works projects.
He reviewed the work progress of major  projects from both Right and left River Works Division including construction of modern Abattoir coming up at Aluchi bagh, construction of footpath/ bund at Mehjoor Nagar, Development of Mechanical workshop at JAKLI yard  etc.
He also reviewed the projects approved under city grants in both Left and Right Division at length.
The construction of public toilets/ renovation of existing public toilets ,construction and upgradation of Marriage/ community halls and construction and upgradation of foot paths at different places was also reviewed during the course  of meeting.
The works under Capex sub division wise including Brane, Illahi bagh, Islamabad, Batamaloo, Jawahar Nagar   was also reviewed .
Commissioner on the occasion impressed upon the concerned Officers to meet the deadlines that have been fixed for completion of various works and also to tender out the works that needs to be tendered out.
He said that he  will be taking weekly review  of all the works both major and other projects ward wise to see the weekly  progress along with the photographic evidences.
