SANJY-2022: 7th Special Grievance Redressal Camp held at Dachnipora

Anantnag, May 21: The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Anantnag, Bashir Ahmad Wani today presided over a special grievance redressal camp at Dachnipora, here.

The event was held at Block HQ Dachnipora and is the 7th in a series of special grievance redressal camps being organized in the district for redressal of general grievance for people living in villages enroute to the Holy Cave.

 The meeting was attended by several PRIs and people from the neighbouring villages who put forth their grievances regarding various issues including road connectivity, electricity supply, water supply, poles for electric wires and availability of staff at local health centres. The people appreciated the administration for the fast pace with which work on Sakhras bridge is being completed.

 The ADDC directed the officials from line departments present on the occasion to identify the issues being faced by the people and incorporate local demands in the development plans which are formulated at the Halqa level. He said that grievances regarding basic issues like electricity, water and road connectivity should be tackled on priority.

Bashir Ahmad Wani also urged the people to participate wholeheartedly in the smooth conduct of SANJY 2022. He said that people should make conscious efforts to keep their surroundings clean. He said that behavioural change is essential to effect change in the environment.

DPO Anantnag, BDO Dachnipora, NT Srigufwara, Sarpanches of Sofipora Wullar Hama, Kanilwan, Katsoo, Liver and Khiram Bala among others were present on the occasion.
