Mera Desh Meri Pehchaan

Srinagar, May 21 : A national integration event titled “Mera Desh Meri Pehchaan” was conducted today at Panzgom, Pulwama by the Indian Army in collaboration with Pune based Lakshya Foundation.

The unique programme was designed at giving the children & youth of South Kashmir an exposure to the diverse and rich culture of the country and at the same time showcase their immense talent. The programme was conducted in both online and offline modes. It included plethora of activities, such as team building exercises, creative competitions, discussions and fun obstacle courses. The mega event witnessed an overwhelming participation by approximately 1200 school & college going children from South Kashmir who enthusiastically participated in different activities.

Commander 12 Sector RR interacted with the participants and complimented them for their enthusiastic response and talent. Addressing the gathering, he reiterated the Indian Army’s resolve to continue providing opportunities to the youth towards their betterment. He appreciated the efforts of Lakshya Foundation, Pune for the initiative and the youth volunteers of Pulwama who worked towards successful conduct of the event.
