Weekly Block Diwas: ADC listens issues of PRIs of Block Ganderbal

Ganderbal, May 11: As a part of the weekly Block Diwas, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Ganderbal, Farooq Ahmad Baba today held grievance redressal campfor block Ganderbal here at Conference Hall of Mini Secretariat Ganderbal.

The camp was attended by DDC members of block Ganderbal, BDC Chairperson, President Municipal Council besides Sarpanchs and Panchs of block Ganderbal who apprised the ADC about various basic issues related to augmentation of water supply and electricity, improvement of roads, macdamization of inner roads and other demands of public importance.

 

The ADC patiently listened to all the issues and demands put forth by the DDC members and PRIs and directed the concerned officers to prepare a list of issues/grievances raised pertaining to their departments that should be resolved at an earliest as per their competence.

 

On the occasion the ADC gave necessary instructions to the officers for ensuring early redressal of the grievances raised by the PRIs and said that the purpose of holding the block diwas is to have firsthand appraisal of issues faced by the people and to ensure on spot redressal of possible genuine issues raised.

 

Among others grievance redressal camp was attended by CPO, DySP HQ, DPO, Ex. Engineers of various wings and other district officers.
