Commissioner SMC held review meeting with Works division of SMc

Srinagar,April 26 :Commissioner SMC Athar Aamir Khan  today held a detailed  review meeting with  Works Division of SMC  under different account heads.
Meeting was attended by Joint Commissioner Administration SMC, Joint Commissioner Works,  S.E Drainage, ADP,  Xens’s of Right River works and left River Works, officials   officials from Smart City and other officials.
During the course of meeting Commissioner SMC Athar Aamir  directed to expedite the progress of works and ensure their   timely completion.
The beautification plan of city on a broader spectrum and its proper zone wise  implementation  was also reviewed in the meeting.
The beautification plan will be taken on a broader scale in which all the Government structures including offices, buildings, residential places , complexes and private properties including  residential houses, markets and other vital places will undergo facade uplifting , painting of roof tops and uplifting of shops and main markets in Srinagar City.
The concerned in this regard were directed to conduct a proper survey for identification of  locations including buildings both public and private ,markets , houses , footpaths, flyovers ,bridges etc  zone wise for a proper action plan and  implementation of the beautification of  Srinagar City.
He also reviewed Head wise Physical/ Financial status of works including city drainage division and passed on directions to expedite with all the works that are in place and meet the deadlines already set for completion of various works..
