Congress leads in 13 seats in Punjab

Chandigarh,:  The Congress party is leading in eight Lok Sabha seats in Punjab at the end of the third round of counting.
The Shiromani Akali Dal-Bhartiya Janata Party alliance is leading in four parliamentary constituencies while the Aam Adami Party is ahead on one Lok Sabha seat in the state.
Among the SAD-BJP alliance candidates, SAD candidate and Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal is leading by 6227 votes from Bathinda and her husband and SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal is also leading by 57,322 votes from Ferozepur seat. BJP candidates actor Sunny Deol is leading from Gurdaspur seat by 40,523 votes and Som Parkash is also ahead with over 12,806 votes from Hoshiarpur (SC) seat.
Congress candidates Parneet Kaur leading by 48,628 votes from Patiala, Gurjit Singh Aujla by 28,077 votes from Amritsar, former union minister Manish Tiwari by 12,095 votes from Anandpur Sahib, Mohamad Sadiq by 24,676 votes from Faridkot, Amar Singh by 27,730 votes from Fathegarh Sahib, Santhokh Singh Chowdhry by 6,845 votes from Jalandhar, Jasbir singh Dimpa by 54,212 votes from Khadoor Sahib, Ravneet Singh Bittu by 21,825 votes from Ludhiana Lok Sabha seat.
Aam Adami Party Punjab unit president and sitting MP Bhagwant Maan is leading by 37,298 votes from Sangrur seat.
