Five members of a family die in a road accident

Bhubaneswar, :  In a tragic incident five members of a family including two children were killed and two others critically injured near Jaring forest in Kalahandi district in the wee hours today.
Police said one Asutosh Behera and his family were returning to their village Khurselguda under Junagarh Tehsil in the district, from Kesinga railway station when the mishap occurred.
The deceased have been identified as Ashutosh Behera, his brother Jagannath, son Viki and two granddaughters.
Two others including the domestic help of the family were critically injured in the accident and admitted in the hospital.
Sources said Ashutosh had gone to Visakhapatnam along with his family on May 20 last.
The family members arrived at Kesinga railway station at around 02 30 hours late last night and on their way to the village in a car when the tragic incident took place.
While Ashutosh and his brother died on the spot, the three others succumbed to their injuries at the hospital.
