BJP celebrates 42th foundation day a cross Kashmir

PM Narendra Modi kicks off BJP foundation day celebrations with address to party workers

Srinagar, April 6: BJP Kashmir unit BJP celebrated 42th foundation day at J-53 Jawahar Nagar Srinagar organized by District unit Srinagar.

Speaking on the occasion National General Secretary Vinod Tawdey said that people have made the BJP as the country’s largest political party in terms of representation in the national parliament and state assemblies and  the ‘Lotus’ is blooming in every nook and corner of the country. The emerging dominance of the BJP under Narendra Modi and Amit Shah’s leadership has given sleepless nights to the Congress that ruled for 60 years after Independence. Such is the situation that there has been no effective opposition in the country in the last 8 years.

He also said: “BJP is committed to India’s unity and integrity, its intrinsic identity and the social strength.” The party believes in the principle of “justice for all and appeasement of none”, that was why it attracted large masses into its fold and has become  the world’s largest party in terms of primary membership.

While speaking on the occasion  BJP’s rising political graph and acceptance of its ideology in the country under Modi-Shah leadership has stumped the political pundits who never imagined that the BJP would be able to travel this far when it came into existence on April 6, 1980.

Speaking on the occasion, co-incharge J&K Ashish Sood said that BJP always aims to work for the welfare of the people. The people have shown so much love and support for the party all these years, he said. He said that BJP supports the ones who work hard for the party. The parties in power earlier practised vote bank politics in which promises were made to some sections of society while others were ignored, he said, adding that discrimination and corruption were “side effects of this politics.

While unfurling the party flag, General Secretary Organization Ashok Kaul said that BJP was one of the few parties in India to have a popular-based governing structure, where workers and leaders at the local level have a great say in much of the decision-making.

“BJP leadership has taken care of the aspirations of country’s citizens their empowerment, faster connectivity, more jobs, better education and improved quality of life,” he said, the Good Governance model of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, encompasses these broad themes into simple takeaways which have the potential of transforming India in the near future.

Meanwhile, All district of Valley also celebrated BJP’s foundation day and hoisted party flag at District party offices & Mandals.

Present on the occasion were District President Srinagar Ashok Bhat, Kashmir Media Incharge Manzoor Bhat, Publicity  Secretary Arif Raja, Grievance Incharge Dr. Rafi & Office Secretary Salinder Singh.
