Gram Sabhas held across district Ramban to mark launch of e-Governance Gram Swaraj

Ramban, April 4: Department of Rural Development and Panchyati Raj today a series of Gram Sabhas across Panchayats of district Ramban on the occasion of launch of  e-Governance in Panchayati Raj  Institutions (PRIs) across the country by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj (Mo PR) to strengthen  e-Governance GramSwaraj, a user friendly web-based portal.

 During the Gram Sabhas various resolutions were passed for saturation of 100 points programme during the Gram Sawraj month.

It was informed that the eGramSwaraj aims to bring more transparency in the decentralised planning, progress,  reporting and work-based accounting.

The GPDP of all 143 Panchayats of District Ramban have been completed. On the occasion, Cleanliness drives under Swachh Gram were also held in different Panchayats.

It was informed that during the Gram Sawaraj month   the RDD and Sarpanches will sensitize the local people about Swaach Gram and adoption of Sustainable Development Goals   indicators for this year   Under 100 Point Agenda.

In block Ukhral, the Gram Sabhas was held under the Chairmanship of BDC, Chairperson Karleep Singh at Panchayat Paristan. The Chairperson also informed the public about the Gram Swaraj programme.

The Gram Sawarj month activities were also held at Chamalwas upper–A, Doligam in  block Banihal ,  Pyt Seri –A of block Ramban,  Panchayat Kang of  Block Gandhri,  Panchayat Senabathi A, Senabathi-B  and Pogal upper A  of Block Ukhral ,  Panchayat Khari Lower A of Block Khari,   Panchayat Neel D  of Block Ramsoo,  Panchayat Famrote , Dalwah upper,  Sumber Upper  and Panchayat Seripora  of Block Sangaldan.
