Man Killed in Scuffle Over Land Dispute in Kulgam

Srinagar, Mar 30 : A man was killed in scuffle, which broke out over a land dispute, in Muchawa village of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district this afternoon, officials said.

Identifying the deceased as Zahoor Ahmad Wani son of Ghulam Mohammad Wani, the officials said that as per initial reports a scuffle broke out at the residence of Ghulam Mohammad Wani (father of victim) this afternoon. “During the scuffle, Zahoor Ahmad Wani was killed”, they told GNS.

A police team was at the site to ascertain more findings leading to death of the person, they added.

Confirming death of the person, a police official told GNS that the body has been taken for post-mortem. “There has been some inter-family dispute which led to the death of the person”, the official added.
