Bhaderwah LPG blast:DC enquires about condition of injured at Associated Hospital of GMC Doda

Instructs authorities to ensure proper sanitation, well staffed & spacious Enquiry Counter, sufficient Arogya Mitras, adherence to dress code

Doda, Mar 15: Deputy Commissioner Doda, Vikas Sharma today visited Associated Hospital of GMC Doda and met with yesterday’s Bhaderwah Jail LPG cylinder blast victims.

Four persons were injured in an accidental LPG Blast inside the Bhaderwah Jail.  One of the injured has been shifted to GMC Jammu for advanced treatment, while one is admitted at SDH Bhaderwah and two are admitted at Associated Hospital of GMC Doda and are reported to be out of danger.

During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner instructed the hospital authorities to maintain proper sanitation and hygiene in and around the Hospital as per the standard guidelines.

During the visit, the DC noted with concern the absence of staff at the enquiry counter and   huge rush at Arogya Mitras’ counter. He directed the Hospital administration to ensure availability of staff at the enquiry counter round the clock and also deploy sufficient staff at Arogya Mitras’ counter to address the issues of the public and to avoid unnecessary rush.

Further, the DC directed the hospital administration to keep sufficient stocks of equipment and other material for patient care and surgery under Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY SEHAT for timely treatment and surgery of the patients.
