DDC Rajouri reviews arrangements for Accounts Assistant Exams

Rajouri, Mar 4: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting to review the arrangements being put in place for smooth conduct of OMR based objective type written examination for Accounts Assistant being conducted by JK Services Selection Board on March 06.

Officers present in the meeting  were ADDC, Pawan Kumar; ADC Sunderbani, Vinod Kumar Behnal; ADC Kalakote, Krishan Lal; ADC Koteranka, Surinder Mohan Sharma; ACR, Imran Rashid Qataria; AC Defence, Saleem Quershi; DFO SF, Rakesh Saraf; CHO, Madan Lal; CAO, Som Singh and other concerned officers.

Threadbare discussions were held on various issues regarding the examinations including, accommodation facilities, provision of vehicles, manpower for the receipt, and dispatch of examination material, security in and around strong room and examination centres, besides other related issues.

At the outset, the ADDC informed that the examination shall be held on March 6th at 29 examination centers across the district. It was also informed that Superintendents, Deputy Superintendents and supervisors have been engaged for the purpose.

About the deployment supervisory staff, the ADDC informed that observers, flying squads and duty magistrates have been appointed and so far as the invigilators are concerned, the list has been received from the CEO office.

The necessary training for the invigilators has been completed and it is currently in the randomisation process.

Taking stock of the facilities available in the examination centres, the meeting was apprised that maximum centres have been checked and all the requisite facilities for the smooth conduct of the examination are available in the examination centres.

The ADDC also informed that mobile phones and other electronic devices will not be allowed inside the exam center. Candidates will be allowed to carry only ball-point pens and hall tickets inside the exam hall.

The DDC directed the officers to personally visit all the centres and ensure that all arrangements are well in place and execute the plan as per given directions to ensure smooth and successful conduct of the examination.

He urged all the concerned to work in coordination and cohesion for conducting the exams smoothly and peacefully in the district.
