Ex-Teacher Falls From Poplar Tree, Dies In Uri

Uri, Mar 2 : A 65-year-old retired teacher died after he fell down from a poplar tree in Jabla village of Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.

Official sources told GNS the sexagenarian was pruning it for firewood when he fell down.

Identified as Mohammad Ismail Paswal (65), a retired teacher, the man was shifted to Sub-District hospital Uri where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival, they said. A police official confirmed the incident.
