DC Srinagar reviews Action plan for proposed developmental works under NABARD for 2022-23

Proposal for Macadamisation of roads during current year also reviewed

Srinagar, Feb 28: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad Monday chaired a meeting of officers at Meeting Hall of DC Office Complex, here to review the action plan for proposed developmental works under NABARD for year 2022-23 in the district.

During the meeting a detailed discussion was held with regard to formulation and submission of a plan under NABARD component by R&B, PHE and Irrigation & Flood Control in congruence with the developmental needs of the district.

On the occasion, the DC was apprised about the status of various ongoing projects and was given feedback about physical and financial status of all works taken up in current fiscal. The DC directed the concerned departments and executing agencies to expedite the work for timely completion of all projects.

While reviewing the action plan under NABARD for year 2022-23, the DC asked the officers to come up with a priority list and also with the focus on macadamization of roads in the district under City and Town scheme.

The DC emphasized on early completion of all the approved projects. He stressed on regular monitoring of works and asked the officers to follow deadlines and complete the work within a given timeframe. He enjoined upon concerned officers and agencies to work with dedication so that all developmental targets are achieved.

The DC also asked the officers to bring issues, if any, hindering developmental projects in his notice so that the same is resolved on priority to ensure timely completion of projects.

Chief Planning Officer, Srinagar, Executive Engineers of R&B, I&FC, PHE and officers of other concerned departments were present in the meeting.
