Bandipora Administration bids farewell to ADC, DySPs

Bandipora, Feb 28: The District Administration Bandipora today organised a grand function to bid a warm farewell to outgoing Additional Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Zahoor Ahmad Mir.

Two DySPs Dr. Mohammad Idress and Faizan Ali were also bid farewell after they were transferred last week.

Additional Superintendent of Police Bandipora Ashiq Hussain Tak, Joint Director Planning, Imtiyaz Ahmad, ACR Bandipora Parvaiz Rahim, Assistant Commissioner Panchayat Altaf Ahmad Mosavi, SDM Gurez Dr. Mudasir Ahmad Officers and officials from District Administration and Revenue Department were present on the occasion.

Dr. Owais recalled the services rendered by the outgoing officers especially during pandemic and lauded the contribution of outgoing ADC, Zahoor Ahmad Mir for performing to the best of his capabilities in the public service delivery.

While congratulating all the outgoing officers, DC said all these officers are People friendly officers and are capable of dealing with any situation especially during exigencies.

Speaking on the occasion, ASP Bandipora Ashiq Hussain Tak said, Team Bandipora put every effort to provide prompt services to the public. He said all outgoing officers were part of public welfare throughout their tenure. He congratulated all the outgoing officers and said we as a team will always remember their services.

The officers lauded the services performed by the outgoing officers during their tenure in the district.

Speaking on the occasion ADC Bandipora, Zahoor Ahmad Mir said the period spent in Bandipora was a period to elutriate my career. He lauded the efforts and guidance provided by Deputy commissioner Dr. Owais Ahmad and appreciated his dynamic leadership qualities.

Mir in his address said that he will always remain indebted to the District Administration Bandipora and all employees for the support, cooperation, love and affection showered upon him.

Joint Director Planning Imtiyaz Ahmad also spoke on the occasion and hailed the services of the officers. He also presented Vote of thanks.
