DC Doda discusses Change of Land use applications received online, follow up by concerned departments

Directs to constitute dedicated cell for regular monitoring of portal

Doda, Feb 23: Deputy Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma today chaired a meeting of key officials of various departments   to discuss the change of land use applications received online.

During the meeting, the DC enquired about the status of NOCs being issued in the favour of the online applicants, the applications received online till date, besides their reporting and follow up status by the concerned departments.

The DC directed the ACR to constitute a cell for the regular monitoring of the online portal so that quality and time bound follow up shall be ensured, besides directing the concerned dealing Officials to immediately forward the cases to all the concerned for their response as per the norms.

It is pertinent to mention here that the new guidelines have been issued to regulate the uncontrolled conversion of agricultural land for non-agricultural purposes on the one hand and keep the developmental aspirations of the UT and the people on the other hand.

The meeting was attended by GM DIC, ACR Doda, District Officer PCB, Range Officer forest department, besides,  other concerned officials were also present in the meeting.
