ISM holds awareness cum immunity booster distribution camp at Police Headquarter Ramban

Ramban, Feb 22: Department of Indian System of Medicine (ISM), AYUSH on Tuesday organized  awareness cum immunity booster distribution camp, here at Police Headquarter, Ramban.

SSP, Ramban, Mohita Sharma and several other police officers and staff participated in the camp.

While distrusting the kits among the Police officers and officials working in district, the SSP advised them to take immunity boosting medicines as per prescription of the doctors and practice yoga on daily basis.

The SSP also appreciated the ISM Department Ramban for organizing awareness cum immunity booster distribution camps across the district especially in far-flung areas. She informed that such camps will also be organized at Sub-divisions and Tehsil level in coordination with District Nodal Officer, AYUSH, Dr. Sanjay Chadha to provide immunity boosting medicines besides imparting Yoga skills to police personnel.

Earlier, Nodal Officer Immunity boosting, Dr. Masood Iqbal Zarger delivered a lecture on the importance of immunity boosting Ayurvedic and Unani drugs. He also sensitized the participants about the significance of implementation of Covid protocols in preventing spread of Covid infections.

He informed that AYUSH Ramban has provided   Immune-booster Ayurvedic and Unani medicines kits to 1, 43,755 people in the district during the current financial year, so far.

Beneficiaries appreciated the efforts of ISM Department for distributing immunity booster at appropriate time.
