Sansad Khel Spardha:DDC Doda reviews preparedness for mega event

Sports department asked to make foolproof arrangements

Doda, Feb 19: District Development Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma today chaired a meeting of the concerned to review the arrangements for smooth conduct of the Sansad Khel Spardha event across the district.

During the meeting, the DDC enquired about the ongoing registration of the participants, status of events being finalised for the conduct of sports activities, besides took stock of other arrangements pre-requisite for the smooth conduct of the event.

The DDC directed the DYSSO to extend the last date of registration for the participants, if required, besides he directed to structure the entire event keeping in view of the convenience of the participants.

Moreover, the DDC directed the DYSSO to ensure that all the registered participants get the opportunity to participate in the event. The DEPO was asked to submit the details of sports equipment available in their institution for the finalized games so that same were put in use during the event.

The DDC also directed DYSSO to finalize the event fixture soon after the completion of the registration process.

The meeting was attended by GM DIC, ACP Doda, GM NHIDCL, DYSSO Doda, DEPO Doda, besides representatives of banks were also present in the meeting.
