4 cops, trooper injured in Bandipora grenade attack

Bandipora, Feb 11,: At least 4 security personnel were injured after militants hurled a grenade in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

Police sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that a grenade was hurled towards a joint police and CRPF party near Nabirpora Nishat Park.

Three policemen and a trooper sustained injuries in the attack. The injured were shifted to hospital from treatment. Hospital sources said that the condition of one of the injured is critical.

Joint Forces cordoned off the area after the attack. (KNT)
