Residential House Gutted in Blaze in Sangam Bijbehara

Anantnag, Feb 7 : A double storey residential house was gutted in a massive fire in Sangam area of Bijbehara in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday evening.

Reports reaching GNS that a massive fire broke out in a residential house belonging to one Feroz Ahmad Dar Son of Abdul Raheem Dar in Sangam Bijbehara. Soon after, fire and emergency department employees assisted by police and locals launched an operation to douse off the flames in a highly congested locality. However the residential house was gutted completely in the incident.

A police official confirming the incident told GNS the cause of fire could not be immediately known.
