ISM deptt appeals public to strictly adhere to CAB

Distributes free immunity booster kits in district Shopian

Shopian, Feb 7: To combat the deadly Covid-19 pandemic, the Department of Indian System of Medicines (AYUSH), Shopian organized various medical camps from January 28 to February 07 to distribute free Immunity booster medicines among the people   at different places including Khurampora, Keegam, Trenz, Wachi, Kapran, Town hall Shopian, Turkwangam, Dachoo, Block Shopian and block Zainapora.

On the occasion, District Nodal Officer Ayush Unit DH Shopian,   Dr. Ishrat Ahmad Hakeem said that in order to combat COVID pandemic, ISM Shopian distributed immunity booster kits among the people because boosting of immunity plays a vital role to defeat covid infection.

He also requested the public to follow proper SOPs of COVID besides urging the people to avoid mass gatherings and make effective use of hand sanitizers and face masks.

During the camps, 2119 immunity booster medicine kits were distributed to local people of the different areas.

He said that the purpose of these camps is to promote awareness among the people of the district regarding hygiene and protection from Covid-19 infection.

He appealed to the citizens of these areas to avail benefits of these free medical camps organized by the Ayush in various areas of the district on routine bases.

He also said that this is the need of the hour to hold such camps for the general public and provide free immunity boosters to strengthen their immunity.
