Man Found Hanging Inside House In Kupwara

Srinagar, Feb 5 : A 27-year-old man was found hanging in Taratpora Ramhall in Handwara area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Saturday.

“A police officer indentified the deceases as Mohammad Iqbal Chopan (27) son of Mohammad Sabir Chopan of Sharkoot Tarathpora Ramhall Kupwara.

A police party from Villgam reached the spot and took the body into custody.

The body has been sent for the postmortem. “Investigations are underway,” a police official told GNS underlining that it was premature to say if it was case of suicide or otherwise. “Investigations will reveal the facts,” he added. (GNS)
