Minaret of Chrar-I-Sharief shrine tilted in earthquake

Budgam, Feb 05: The minaret of shrine of Sheikh Ul Alam (RA) got tilted due to the earthquake on Saturday morning.

Administrator Waqf board Chrar-i-Sharief told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) the crown at the minaret of the shrine got tilted and lost its original shape due to the strong tremors felt across Kashmir.

He said that there is no major damage to the shrine and everything is being inspected from inner and outer side.

Pertinently, an earthquake with the magnitude of 5.7 jolted Kashmir parts on Saturday morning—(KNO)
