DC Gbl reviews progress of works approved under District Capex, B2V, other schemes

Ganderbal, Jan 15: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Krittika Jyotsna today chaired a meeting of concerned officers and reviewed the physical and financial progress of works approved under District Capex Budget 2021-22, B2V, Languishing and other schemes in the district.

At the outset, the DC sought details both physical and financial of ongoing projects/works department wise and threadbare discussion was held on the progress made on development projects in the district.

After discussion, the DC directed the departments who have low progress to work dedicatedly and mobilize their available resources, including men and machinery so that the developmental projects are completed within the stipulated time frame and to avoid time and cost escalation.

The DC sought cooperation of all district officers for completion of prestigious projects on time and instructed the concerned to remove all the bottle-necks if any, so that sustainable development of the district is ensured.

Addressing the participants, the DC maintained that the district administration is committed to ensure all development projects/works are completed within set timeline and stressed on the concerned officers/officials to take all possible measures to accelerate the pace of ongoing works for their time-bound completion and the benefits, so accrued, are felt at the grass-roots level.

Among others, the meeting was attended by, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Farooq Ahmad Baba, Chief Planning Officer, ACP, SE, R&B, CEO, Executive Engineers of various wings and other concerned.
