ADDC Budgam reviews preparation for upcoming Good Governance Week

BUDGAM, DECEMBER 17: Additional District Development Commissioner Budgam Ikramulla Tak today chaired a meeting convened here in New Conference Hall Budgam to take stock of preparations that shall be put in place for an upcoming Good Governance week to be held from 20th to 26th December this month.

Among others, the meeting was also attended by ADC Budgam, GM DIC, CPO, CMO, CAO, CHO, DSEO, DIO, ALC and other concerned officers and officials.

During the meeting, the ADDC passed various instructions to concerned line departments pertaining to improvement of public service delivery.

The ADDC Emphasized upon all line departments to redress as many grievances as possible during the upcoming Good Governance Week. He instructed Tehsildars and BDOs to conduct special camps at Tehsil, Block and Niabat level for redressal of grievances and on spot issuance of certificates.

The ADDC also exhorted Departments to update Departmental websites and ensure uploading of Citizens charter as well on the portal.

Besides this, the ADDC also instructed to identify one best Good Governance practice and identify one success story which shall be highlighted and shared with the higher ups later on. Commenting upon Grievances received through I GRAMS Portal, the ADC informed the meeting that 191 grievances are pending till date while around 2500 grievances have been resolved.

He stressed upon concerned departments to resolve the pending grievances on war footing basis particularly during upcoming Good Governance Week. While concluding, the ADDC further instructed that all departments shall coordinate with DSEO and District Informatics Officer for smooth conduct of upcoming Good Governance Week.
