CLEAN ANANTNAG – GDC Khanabal organizes cleanliness drive

ANANTNAG, DECEMBER 15:-As part of the clean Anantnag initiative, Govt Degree College Boys Khanabal organized a cleanliness drive to remove illegal hoardings and banners from college walls .

Principal, GDC Khanabal, Muzaffar Ahmad said that recently DC Anantnag Dr Piyush Singla has initiated the Clean Anantnag campaign. Accordingly, the college in collaboration with NSS volunteers organized a drive to clean the outer walls. Many posters and hoardings that were detrimental to the aesthetics of this heritage building were removed. He hoped that painting of the walls would soon be taken up.

Staff and students of the college and members of the media fraternity were present on the occasion.

It is in place to mention that DC Anantnag has started the Clean Anantnag Campaign to remove illegal hoardings and posters from public spaces. A magisterial order giving 7 days notice to the concerned has been issued in this regard and strict action shall be initiated against any violators.
