‘Har Ghar Dastak’ campaign going on in full swing at Bandipora

Campaign focuses on 100 % vaccination, Saturation under Ayushman Bharat: CMO

BANDIPORA, NOVEMBER 29: The ‘Har Ghar Dastak’ campaign launched by District Administration Bandipora is going on in full swing in the district with focus on coverage of all unvaccinated cases, besides ensuring cent percent registration under Ayushman Bharat scheme.

Chief Medical Officer, Dr Bashir Ahmad said that on the directions of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad, a mega vaccination campaign in convergence with ICDS was launched across the district during which teams of healthcare workers, CSCs VLEs and ICDS are going door-to-door to vaccinate people eligible for the second dose and also those who have not taken the first dose.

He said besides, the teams focus on achieving 100 percent enrolments under Ayushman Bharat scheme, and completion of malnutrition and anemia survey in the district.

He said under this initiative joint teams screen all households while taking due care of Covid Appropriate Behavior (CAB) in the jurisdiction of the Sub Centres and Primary Health Centres for vaccination, testing, enrollment in Ayushman Bharat Health Cards besides screening people for Tuberculosis.

CMO said 64 persons were vaccinated for 2nd dose on Monday while screening 544 houses under ‘Har Ghar Dastak’ initiative. He said during the interaction with the people, the joint health teams informed the people about CAB and urged them to follow CAB to restrict the spread of virus.
