Delhi records 10.2 C as air quality continues to remain 'very poor'

New Delhi, Nov 27 :Delhi on Saturday recorded a minimum of 10.2 degrees as its air quality continued to remain in the ‘very poor’ category, IMD said.

The Centre-run System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR) data showed the overall air quality index (AQI) was clocked at 384.

The Indian Meteorological Department in its forecast said that it is likely to remain in the same category for the next two day.

“The air quality is likely to remain in very poor category on Sunday and Monday,” the weather department said.

PM 2.5 to be the predominant pollutant, it added.

The crop residue burning fire points were observed in Punjab (21), Haryana (48) and UP (74) on Friday, the IMD said.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 10.2 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 27 degrees Celsius, the IMD said.
