BJP has unhealthy obsession with bombs, IEDs, nuclear arsenal: Mehbooba

Srinagar, Apr 24 :  Alleging that Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has an unhealthy obsession with bombs, Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) and nuclear arsenal, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti said though these violent remarks are unwarranted and shameful, she is not expecting Election Commission of India (ECI) to act since it is in deep slumber like ‘Kumbkharan’.
Taking to micro-blogging site twitter, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president Mufti said, ‘BJP has an unhealthy obsession with bombs, IEDs & nuclear arsenal. Violent remarks like these are unwarranted & shameful. Don’t expect ECI to act since it’s in deep slumber like Kumbhkaran”.
She was reacting to BJP minister Pankaja Munde alleged statement that “Rahul Gandhi should be tied to a bomb and sent to another country”.
She had earlier reacted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement that India has not kept nuclear bomb for Diwali.
She had tweeted “ If India hasn’t kept nuclear bomb for Diwali, it’s obvious Pakistan’s not kept theirs for Eid either. Don’t know why PM Modi must stoop so low & reduce political discourse to this.’
“To be trolled for it by RW is amusing & baffling. Does one have to be enthusiastic about nuclear war to earn the credentials of a true patriot? Disturbing that Gandhi’s India is baying for blood”, she further said.
