Jammu illegal mining: Police seizes 5 vehicles

Jammu, Nov 8 : Continuing its drive against the menace of illegal mining, Jammu Police on Monday seized five vehicles.

The police spokesperson said the raid was as per a multi-pronged strategy devised by the Jammu Police in which teams from various police stations were involved following specific inputs and they raided different locations.

The teams seized five vehicles involved in illegal mining from Jhajjar Kotli, Bagh e Bahu and Phallian Mandal areas of Jammu.

“The mining was being done in violation of High Court of J&K’s order,” said the spokesperson.
