Jammu, Aug 9 (UNI) Indian Army launched the Cordon And Search Operation (CASO) in Mendhar area of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday morning.
Police sources said that on specific inputs regarding some suspicious movement, Army has launched a search operation in Maheshwar area along the national highway in Mendhar.
“Ahead of Independence Day, searches have been intensified in parts of the Jammu division especially in border areas,” they said.
