GANDERBAL POLICE ARRESTED TWO GAMBLERS; STAKE MONEY RECOVERED

Ganderbal,28 May :Acting swiftly upon a specific information regarding gambling in the jurisdiction of Police Post Shadipora,Police team led by I/C PP Shadipora Sub Inspector Gulzar Ahmad under the supervision of DySP Hqrs. Ganderbal raided the place of gambling at Latti Authkhuroo, Shadipora and arrested two persons on spot.

 

The accused persons were identified as Mohammad Hanief Guru S/O Sonaullah Guru R/O Latti Authkhuroo and Nazir Ahmad Dar S/O Mohammad Shaban Dar R/O Latti Gund Roshan, Ganderbal. Stake money of Rs. 3300/- and a deck of playing cards were also recovered from them.

In this connection, Case FIR No. 86/2021, U/S 13 Gambling Act registered at Police Station Ganderbal and investigation taken up.

Community members are requested to extend cooperation to the Police and come forward with such information so that such social crimes are effectively curbed.
