TOI assistant Editor Subhas Mishra dies of post Covid complications

Lucknow, May 8 (UNI): Senior journalist and assistant editor of Lucknow Times of India(TOI) Subhash Mishra died of post Covid complications here at the SGPGI hospital on early Saturday.

Doctors attending on him at SGPGI said Mishra suffered a massive heart attack at 0230 hrs. He was also witnessing uncontrolled blood sugar too.

The affable and soft-spoken Mishra had contracted the infection about two weeks back and had been under treatment ever since then.

An avid footballer, Subhash Mishra worked as Assistant Editor in Times Of India and in the past had worked with India Today group too.

Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath along with other politicians and journalists have condoled the death of Mishra.

Defence minister and Lucknow MP Rajnath Singh too mourned the death of the senior journalist.
