Covid-Surge:Administration nudge Judiciary, bank employees for RT-PCR tests at Bhadarwah 900 tests conducted so far

Bhadarwah April 29 : As the government is yet to prioritize bankers for covid-19 vaccination, owing to continuous Covid Surge administration in Jammu and Kashmir’s additional district Bhadarwah asked employees to undergo RT-PCR tests.

  Considering the coming festive season which is resulting in heavy rush of customers in banks and Judiciary, administration in first phase on Thursday conducted RT-PCR tests of all the employees of banks operating in Bhadarwah beside employees of Judiciary and some random testing of people was also done.

  Paramedics from SDH Bhadarwah conducted the tests of employees of different banks including, SBI, PNB, J&K bank, Jammu Central Cooperative Bank, Elaqai Dehati Bank, ICICI, beside employees of post offices and some random tests of common people from the market.

  Aarif Khateeb, Nodal officer. On the direction of ADC Bhadarwah today we stared a drive to conduct RT-PCR tests of all the employees and in first phase, we started with banks, post offices and Judiciary. This is a continuous process to locate the gravity of Covid wave in Bhadarwah.

“Till now we have conducted RAT and RT-PCR of 900 hundred persons including employees, labourers and passengers at Bhalla, Domail, SDH Bhadarwah and in different markets of Bhadarwah,” Khateeb added.

  “We had requested for the testing of our staff and administration is so kind as they consider our request and started testing from today. It was very necessary for us as we are vulnerable to infection due to public dealing,” said Vijay Kumar, Branch Head, JK Bank Bhadarwah.

  Bank employees Sujata and Poonam while expressing their gratitude to the administration said that we are working as warriors and the testing Initiative will not only reduce risk for us but will save customers and family members as well.
