Anantnag, Apr 14 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir police arrested a drug peddler and a bootlegger in this south Kashmir district on Wednesday, a police spokesman said.
He said police arrested a drug peddler and recovered narcotics substance from his possession at Mattan in Anantnag. Further investigation has been taken up, he said.
In another operation, police arrested a bootlegger identified as Mukhtar Ahma Shah, resident of Lok Bawan, Larkipora after 40 bottles of illicit liquor was recovered.
