Night curfew imposed in Delhi to contain pandemic

New Delhi, Apr 6 (UNI) Delhi government has imposed night curfew from 2200 hrs to 0500 hrs with immediate effect till April 30 to check the rising number of COVID-19 cases here.

The proposal to this effect was sent to chief minister Arvind Kejriwalâ€™s office by top officials.

According to sources, essential services and emergency movement of vehicles will be allowed like in previous rounds of night curfew.

Delhi reported 3,548 new Covid-1919 cases, 2,936 recoveries, and 15 deaths on Monday. With this, total cases in the national capital reached 6,79,962, including 14,589 active cases.
