LS adjourned sine die

 

 

 

New Delhi, Mar 25 : The Lok Sabha was adjourned sine die on Thursday drawing to a close the almost two-month long Budget session.

The announcement was made by Bhartruhari Mahtab, who was in the Chair, after the laying of Papers on the Table.

Before adjourning the House, Mr Mahtab said a total 24 sittings were held during the session.

The productivity of the Lower House during this session was 114 per cent, he added.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also present when the announcement was made.

As per the schedule, the session was to end on April 8 but was adjourned before time in view of the Assembly elections.
