Mumbai, Mar 16: The BSE Sensex on Tuesday bounced back by 306 pts to 50,701.46 as buying was seen in Bankex, Industrials, Realty stocks.
The Nifty too gained by 69.85 pts to 14,999.35.
The Sensex registered intra days high and low at 50,717.18 and 50,448.98 pts respectively.
The Nifty registered intra days high and low at 15,016.15 and 14,939.45
respectively.
The Mid Cap rose by 0.40 pc and Small Cap by 0.52 pc.
In 30 scrips 22 advanced while 8 declined.
The gainers were Asian Paints by 3.22 pc to Rs 2431.75, Ultracemco by 1.98 pc to Rs 6689, Infosys by 1.84 pc to Rs 1398.30, TCS by 1.80 pc to Rs 3121.45 and HCL Technologies by 1.80 pc to Rs 1010.
The losers were Bajaj Auto by 0.60 pc to Rs 3644.40, SBI by 0.53 pc to Rs 381.65, NTPC by 0.41 pc to Rs 110 and L& T by 0.29 pc to Rs 1479.80.
