DC Ganderbal chairs DLSWC meeting

Gandarbal March 08: Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal,

Shafqat Iqbal today chaired a meeting of District Level Single Window

Committee (DLSWC) to discuss the process of issuance of NOCs in favour

of highest bidder of block no. 8 (Bramsar Nallah, Wussan) for minor mineral

extraction.

The meeting was attended by all committee members including

Additional Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Farooq Ahmad Baba,

Assistant Commissioner Revenue Ganderbal, Executive Engineer Jal

Shakhti, DFO, Sindh Forest Division, AD, Fisheries, District Mineral Officer

besides officials from I&FC, District Pollution Control Broad and Range

Officer, Wildlife.

During the meeting threadbare discussion was held regarding the

process to be followed for issuance of NOC in favour of highest bidder of

block no.8 and DC urged all the committee members to submit their

suggestions/objections at the earliest so that required NOC is issued to the

concerned in time.

The DC stressed all Committee members that it shall be ensured

mining is done in accordance with the mining plans submitted without

disturbing the ecology around these mining blocks.
