Six sheep die after allegedly consuming Jai Kisan Chokar 

Pattan, Feb 27, :  At least six sheep died after allegedly consuming Jai Kisan choker in North Kashmir’s Pattan area of Baramulla district.

Locals alleged that sheep felt unconscious and subsequently died after consuming choker in question. This is the second incident in the town when cattle have died after consuming the same product.

The sheep owner Abdul Ahad Ganaie alleged that he lost his sheep after feeding them Jai Kisan choker.

As the news about the incident spread a special team of Civil and Police officers including Tehsildar Pattan Dr. Salahu ud din, SDPO Pattan Raja Majid,i/c SHO Athar Parvaiz Malik,team of Animal Husbandry department rushed to spot to assess the situation.

Meanwhile Police seized shop and godown of the Shopkeeper who sold this choker. Tehsildar Pattan sadi that they have taken samples and are waiting for FSL report.
