Kupwara, Oct 19: A 55-year-old pedestrian died after being hit by a Tata Mobile vehicle in the Kralgund area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Monday morning, officials said.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the accident occurred when a Tata Mobile vehicle bearing registration number JK09-6657 hit the man in the Budbugh, Ashpora area of Kralgund, Kupwara.
He was shifted to Government Medical College (GMC), Handwara, where doctors declared him brought dead. The deceased was identified as Riyaz Ahmad, a resident of Budbugh, Ashpora, Kralgund.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.—(KNO)
