The quarterfinal line-up for the 23rd FIFA World Cup has been finalized, with Morocco, Norway, and Switzerland emerging as the tournament’s surprise packages after producing impressive performances to secure places among the final eight teams.
Switzerland’s victory over Colombia in the final Round of 16 match in Vancouver completed the quarterfinal bracket for the tournament.
Following a two-day break, the first quarterfinal will be played on Friday night, with France taking on Morocco.
The remaining quarterfinal fixtures are:
- Spain vs Belgium
- England vs Norway
- Switzerland vs defending champions Argentina
The last three quarterfinal matches will be played on Saturday night and Sunday morning (Indian Standard Time).
