Kashmiri Entrepreneur Aarif Shafi Khanyari Makes a Breakthrough in Northeast India; ELVANIA Targets ₹100 Crore (Approx. US$11.6 Million) Investment to Make Tripura a Gateway for Renewable Energy & Electric Mobility

Agartala | In a significant development for India’s clean energy and electric mobility sector, Kashmiri entrepreneur Aarif Shafi Khanyari, Founder & CEO of ELVANIA Energies 369 Pvt. Ltd., has been officially invited by the Government of Tripura to participate in the prestigious Destination Tripura: Business Conclave 2026, to be held on 9th and 10th July 2026 in Agartala.

The invitation, issued by Kiran Gitte, IAS, Secretary, Government of Tripura, recognizes ELVANIA as one of the emerging companies participating in the state’s flagship investment summit, organized in partnership with FICCI. The conclave will bring together leading industrialists, investors, policymakers, foreign delegates and business leaders from across India and abroad.

The event will be inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha and will be attended by Hon’ble Union Minister for Development of North Eastern Region, Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, along with senior officials from the Government of India and the Government of Tripura.

Representing ELVANIA Energies at the conclave will be Founder & CEO Aarif Shafi Khanyari and a senior member of the company’s leadership team.

ELVANIA will present its long-term vision of developing Tripura as a strategic gateway for Renewable Energy, Electric Vehicles, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and green industrial development for Northeast India. The company also aims to strengthen entrepreneurship, manufacturing, skill development and sustainable mobility across the region.

As part of its expansion strategy, ELVANIA Energies plans a phased investment of ₹100 Crore (approximately US$11.6 million) over the next five years, focusing on manufacturing, EV ecosystem development, clean energy infrastructure, dealership networks, research & development, and employment generation.

Speaking ahead of the conclave, Aarif Shafi Khanyari said:

> “Tripura possesses tremendous strategic potential to become the renewable energy and electric mobility hub of Northeast India. We are excited to engage with the Government of Tripura and explore long-term partnerships that can accelerate industrial growth, create employment opportunities and contribute to India’s clean energy mission.”

The invitation marks an important milestone in ELVANIA’s expansion journey and reflects the company’s growing recognition as an emerging player in India’s electric mobility and renewable energy sector.

A detailed announcement regarding investment collaborations, partnerships and the outcomes of the conclave will be released after the conclusion of the event.
