
Srinagar, July 7: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday met delegations representing the travel, tourism and business sectors at the Civil Secretariat to discuss measures aimed at strengthening tourism, improving the business climate and accelerating economic growth across Jammu and Kashmir.
During the interaction, members of the delegations raised various issues and shared suggestions related to the promotion of tourism, enhancement of infrastructure, ease of doing business and investment opportunities in the Union Territory.
The Chief Minister assured the stakeholders that their concerns and recommendations would be given due consideration. He reiterated the government’s commitment to working closely with industry representatives to create a business-friendly environment, promote sustainable tourism and generate employment opportunities.
The meeting focused on identifying practical measures to revive and expand economic activities while ensuring the long-term growth of Jammu and Kashmir’s tourism and business sectors.
