Pulwama, Jun 26: A 25-year-old labourer from Uttar Pradesh died after allegedly falling unconscious while working at a brick kiln in the Zadoora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the labourer was working at the brick kiln in Zadoora when he suddenly fell unconscious. “He was immediately rushed to District Hospital Pulwama, where doctors declared him brought dead,” the official said.
The deceased was later identified as Santosh Kumar (25), son of Bechu Lal, a resident of Jaitipur in Uttar Pradesh.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated proceedings to ascertain the exact cause of death.—(KNO)
