Srinagar, May 7,: In a significant step towards enhancing welfare support for security personnel and their families, the J&K Police and J&K Bank signed a historic addendum to their 2023 Memorandum of Understanding.
The addendum aims to further strengthen welfare provisions for the Next of Kin (NoK) of martyrs, serving personnel, and Special Police Officers (SPOs), with enhanced benefits including improved insurance cover, as well as expanded medical and education support.
The document was signed by Director General of Police Sh Nalin Prabhat and Managing Director & CEO of J&K Bank Sh Amitava Chatterjee, in the presence of senior officers from both the J&K Police and J&K Bank.
Officials stated that the initiative reflects a continued commitment to ensuring comprehensive social security and institutional support for the police fraternity and their families.
