Own troops effectively retaliated with calibrated response resulting in one terrorist eliminated. Operation is in progress”, reads the post.

An official told GNS that based on specific intelligence inputs, a joint team of police and the army launched a cordon and search operation on Tuesday evening.

During the search, contact was established with hiding terrorists, leading to a gunfight. He further said that Operation was halted due to darkness and resumed this morning with the first ray of light.
