Govt rules out 5-Marla land allotment for border residents

Srinagar, Feb 11: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Wednesday ruled out any plan to provide five marlas of land to residents living in border areas.

The clarification came in response to a query by MLA Dr Rajeev Kumar Bhagat, who asked whether the government intended to allot land at safer locations for border residents.

The Minister Incharge Revenue, per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), stated that no such proposal is currently under consideration—(KNO)
