Prominent Social Figure Haji Syed Khursheed Ahmad Kashani No More

Srinagar:Well-known social figure Haji Syed Khursheed Ahmad Kashani (Naqash) passed away, leaving behind a deep sense of grief and sorrow among his family members, relatives, and the local community. His demise has cast a pall of gloom over the area, as he was widely respected for his noble character, humility, and humanitarian nature.

Haji Syed Khursheed Ahmad Kashani was known for his gentle manners, large-heartedness, and lifelong commitment to maintaining harmony and goodwill in society. People from all walks of life remembered him as a compassionate and soft-spoken individual who always stood by those in need. His passing is being mourned across Srinagar, particularly in his native area.

The Fateh Khwani of the departed soul will be performed on Friday, 6th February 2026, at 2:30 PM at Graveyard Bahu-ud-Din Sahab, Bashi Darwaza, Nowhatta, Srinagar. Thereafter, a condolence meeting will be held at the Naqash Residence, Zoonimar, Srinagar.

Meanwhile, expressing profound grief over the demise, Editor-in-Chief of Asian Mail, Rashid Rahil, extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved Naqash family. In his condolence message, Rahil described the deceased as a noble and pious personality who was admired for his humanity and dignified conduct.

He said that the passing away of Haji Syed Khursheed Ahmad Kashani is an irreparable loss not only for the family but also for society at large. Rahil prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and for patience and strength to the bereaved family to bear this immense loss.

“May Almighty Allah grant him Jannat-ul-Firdous and give courage to the family during this difficult time,” he said.
