Srinagar: A man from Uttar Pradesh was found dead inside his hotel room near the Dal Lake in Srinagar late Tuesday might, officials said.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that the man was found unconscious inside his room around midnight, and was immediately shifted to SMHS hospital.
He said that he was declared dead on arrival by doctors at the hospital following which necessary medico-legal formalities were done.
He has been identified as Taranjit Singh (41) son of Pushvandar Singh of Uttar Pradesh. Further investigation into the cause of death is underway, the official said—(KNO)
